Welcome to Our Practice

Dear valued patients,

We remain committed and dedicated to help people achieve a lifetime of optimal dental health. We are doing our best to keep you and our staff safe.  We are aware of the concerns you may have about your safety.

We check our staff’s temperature each morning and go over ADA and HDA guidelines. We require patients to wear a mask upon entering until seated in the dental chair and upon leaving our office.  Covid-19 screening is done over the phone and there will be a Covid-19 questionnaire to be filled out before every appointment. Temperature checks are done on all patients that enter the office using a non-contact thermometer. We have spaced out the chairs in our waiting room to follow social distancing guidelines as well as adding plexi glass at the check-out area. Our staff is equipped with the proper Personal protective equipment recommended by the ADA and HDA.

Certain Specific concerns:

  • Body Temperature (Fever is a critical symptom for any virus)
  • Headache-Sharp or Dull, does not go away
  • Dry Cough (Unproductive cough with respiratory  distress and tiredness)
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Nausea
  • Off island travel

*Please advise our staff if you have any of these symptoms.

 

We will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am and Saturday at 7:00 am. Hours may vary, but please give our office a call. We will update the schedule in a timely manner as changes occur.

We are available during these hours to help you maintain your dental health and prevent further dental problems. If you feel you need immediate care, please call our office during these hours so we may do what is necessary to keep you safe.

Please remember to brush and floss your teeth. Also, be careful about hard and crunchy foods.

Please wash your hands often and practice safe social distancing, and wear your mask when visiting our office.

    "I was taken on as an emergency patient by Doctor Franklin Fukuda. That was a year and some months ago. I usually hate dentists and hygienists visits, but I'm learning to like it. Yes, I said "like." Being that I was not the dentist seeing type, my gums were in a deplorable state. The first visit I had was due to a tooth infection that gave me a giant left cheek. After that visit, I did have to have replacement fillings and dun-dun-dun . . . root canals. Ahhhhhhh! Some people make it sound scary and/or the worst procedure to go through. Adverse as it may sound, my root canals were fine. I felt no pain and Doctor Fukuda was thorough, efficient and pretty humorous. I'm not sure if it was because he meant to be or just that I laugh at everything. Either way, I was laughing. I'm not sure if he is accepting new patients at this time, but if so, he's a keeper! "
